Spencer County and its scenic lake region is bordered by five other Kentucky counties including Jefferson, Shelby, Bullitt, Nelson and Anderson.  Known for its rural ambiance and wildlife, Spencer County became the home of beautiful Taylorsville Lake in 1983.
