In Historical Revision
when Gaelic vassal kings whose rebellion against Arthur was put down at Glastonbury launch an attack on that planet, Arthur and Nimue learn that "Glastonbury" is really Avalon, the home planet of the time-traveling sorcerors, during the time of Vivian the founder of sorceror society. The Gaelic force is led by Morgause, widow of Arthur's adversary at the first encounter at Glastonbury, and Morgan's sister.
Among the associations in the legends between the monastery at Glastonbury and the legendary isle of Avalon is the fact that the legends say Arthur went to Avalon after his final wounding and that graves supposedly of Arthur and Guenevere were discovered at Glastonbury in the twelfth century.
