1970 In Spearhead from Space
the Doctor is regenerated into his third body and exiled to the planet Earth in its twentieth century, and his time machine the TARDIS disabled, for his stealing the TARDIS when first leaving the Time Lords to travel time and space. Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart takes the Doctor on as British UNIT's unpaid scientific advisor. Dr. Elizabeth Shaw, his original scentific advisor, acts as the Doctor's assistant.
In Spearhead from Space
Merlin is exiled to the planet Greece in classical era, and his time machine the CAVE disabled, for his stealing the CAVE when first leaving Avalon to travel time and space. Jason takes Merlin on as the Argonauts' unpaid scientific advisor; his wife Medea, his original scentific advisor, acts as the Doctor's assistant.
In Greek legend Medea was a powerful sorceress who betrayed her allies regularly.
In Too Many Cooks?
the exiled Doctor and UNIT, the starship Enterprise, the mysterious agent Gary Seven and the android Questor all discover that Gary Seven and Questor are agents of the same anonymous benevolent aliens, whom the Doctor reveals to Kirk are the same race as are called by Federation archaeologists the 'Preservers'. What the Doctor does not reveal is that the Preservers are really the Celestial Intervention Agency of the High Council of the Time Lords.
The UNIT stories on early 70s DOCTOR WHO were set several years in their future; hence the setting of this crossover earlier on this timeline than the initial broadcast of one of the properties it crosses.
In Too Many Cooks?
(unwritten) the exiled Merlin and the Argonauts, the starcruiser Excalibbur, the mysterious agent Perseus and the android Galatea all discover that Perseus and Galatea are agents of the same anonymous benevolent aliens, whom Merlin reveals to Arthur are the same race as are called by British archaeologists the 'Conservers'. What Merlin does not reveal is that the Conservers are really the an agency of the High Council of the Sorcerors of Avalon.
In Knights Band
(sequel to Too Many Cooks?) the Round Table fleet knights wrap up their excursion into the past by wearing out their welcome on the Argonauts' satellite headquarters.
1971 In Terror of the Autons
shortly after the Brigadier finally accepts Dr. Shaw's resignation from UNIT, he gives the Doctor a new assistant who stays with him the rest of his exile. The Time Lords start occasionally sending the two in the TARDIS on missions throughout spacetime as their agents. The Time Lord known as the Master, a renegade like the Doctor and an old friend but bent on conquest instead of on exploration, is the villain of all the year's serials. The Brigadier acquires a new first officer, Captain Yates.
In Terror of the Necromants
shortly after Jason finally accepts Medea's resignation from the Argonauts, the Avalonians give Merlin a new apprentice, Nimue, in his exile; and start occasionally sending them in the CAVE on missions throughout spacetime as their agents. Morgan le Fey is the villain of all the year's serials.
In the legends Medea was deserted by Jason for another woman.
In Under Siege
the Time Lords send the Doctor in the TARDIS to the Enterprise to defeat the Master's plot to take over the Federation and invade the Klingons and the Romulans. The Doctor learns his granddaughter Susan is now a history professor at Starfleet Academy.
In Under Siege
the Avalonians send Merlin in the CAVE to the Excalibur to defeat Morgan le Fey's plot to take over Britain and invade the Saxons and the Romans. Arthur learns Morgan is his half-sister.
The revelation that Arthur's lover is his half sister occurs in my "fanfiction", indicating that it never occurs in the imaginary screen canon.
In some versions, usually modern, Morgan is Mordred's mother instead of Morgause.
1972 M*A*S*H: The wisecracking draftee surgeon Hawkeye makes friends and enemies while serving, during the Korean war, at a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital. The MASH is commanded by Lt. Colonel Henry Blake. Hawkeye bunks with fellow surgeon Trapper John. Also among the medical officers are Frank Burns and Margaret Houlihan who have an illicit affair; Houlihan acquires the nickname "Hot Lips". The company clerk Radar idolizes Hawkeye. The corpsman Klinger attempts to get discharged by wearing dresses. The Catholic priest Father Mulcahy is the MASH's unit chaplain. H*O*R*S*E: The sulky, wisecracking draftee surgeon Achilles makes friends and enemies while serving, during the Greek siege of the eponymous capital city of the planet Troy, at a Hellene Occupational Relief Surgical Establishment. The HORSE is a neutral institution staffed by both Greek and Trojan medical corps personnel, organized and commanded by Odysseus of Ithaca. Achilles bunks with the Trojan surgeon Hector. Also among the medical officers from the Trojan side are Paris and Helen whose illicit affair started the war; Helen acquires the nickname "Free Port". The company clerk Patroclus idolizes Achilles. The Greek soldier Philoctetes attempts to get discharged by wearing dresses Hercules once used as a disguise. The Trojan temple priest Laocoon is the HORSE's unit chaplain. In the legends of the Trojan War, the Trojan prince Paris kidnapped the Greek queen Helen to Troy, precipitating a ten-year war with the Greeks. Achilles was the greatest warrior in the Greek forces, and didn't get on well with his superiors. Hector was the greatest warrior of the Trojan forces. Odysseus was the originator of the idea of the Trojan Horse. Patroclus was Achilles', uh, squire. Philoctetes brought Hercules' magic arrows to the war but bowed out after scratching himself with one. Hercules did spend one of his adventures in women's clothing. Laocoon was the Trojan priest who with his sons was killed by the gods for warning the Trojans to mistrust the Horse.
1973 In The Three Doctors
the Time Lords send the Doctor's two past incarnations to assist him in defeating a menace to both Earth and the Time Lords. For his success they rescind his exile.
In The Three Apprentices
the Avalonians send Merlin's two past apprentices, Ygraine and Morgan, to assist him and Nimue in defeating a menace to both Greece and the sorcerors. For his success they rescind his exile.
1974 In The Time Warrior
the Doctor names his home planet Gallifrey for the first time onscreen.
In Invasion of the Dinosaurs
Captain Yates is party to a plot to revert Earth to the dinosaur age.
In Invasion of the Titans
Jason's ex-wife Medea is behind a plot to revert Greece to the titan age.
When Jason threw Medea over, she murdered his prospective bride, his prospective father-in-law, and his two sons by Medea.
In cartoons
Lancelot and the Excalibur's chief nurse Elaine of Corbin discover a changeling boy named Galahad on an abandoned colony planet. Elaine, who has an unrequited love for Lancelot, takes the boy to Benwick to raise him as Lancelot's son. Lancelot stays with them for the first several years.
The princess Elaine of Corbin or Carbonek and/or her father King Pelles plotted to get Lancelot drunk and into her bed. Sir Galahad the pure knight of the Grail quest was thus conceived.
STAR TREK returns as an animated Saturday morning series. Almost all the original regular cast return to voice their characters. It runs two years. KING ARTHUR IN TIME AND SPACE returns as an animated Saturday morning series. Almost all the original regular cast return to voice their characters, but actor who played Lancelot is unavailable, so Dame Tristram is made Arthur's science knight. It runs two years.
In Mudd's Passion
Nurse Chapel succumbs to temptation and subjects Spock to con man Harry Mudd's supposed love potion.
In Forcin's Passion
it is ambiguous whether the dwarf Forcin's magic potion is the cause or merely the catalyst of the love between Tristram and Isolde, princess of Ireland betrothed to Tristram's uncle King Mark of Cornwall.
The Tristram legends concern the affair between the knight and his uncle King Mark's wife Isolde. The dwarf Forcin countinually plots to expose them and fails.
In KING ARTHUR IN TIME AND SPACE Tristram is female but Isolde and Mark's genders aren't changed.
THE QUESTOR TAPES: An android named Questor is created by a US government project led by Dr. Jerry Robinson, protege of the scientist Emil Vaslovik who created the blueprints for the android and then disappeared. Preprogrammed, Questor hunts Vaslovik down with Robinson's help, and learns that Vaslovik too is an android, left on Earth by benevolent aliens to help guide the humans during the childhood of their civilization. Vaslovik was the second-to-last of a series; if mankind survives Questor's normal operational lifespan, its childhood will be over. THE GALATEA TAPES: An android named Galatea is created by a Theban government project led by Pygmalion, protege of the scientist Nereus who created the blueprints for the android and then disappeared. Preprogrammed, Galatea hunts Nereus down with Pygmalion's help, and learns that Nereus too is an android, left on Greece by benevolent aliens to help guide the Greeks during the childhood of their civilization. Nereus was the second-to-last of a series; if Hellenekind survives Galatea's normal operational lifespan, its childhood will be over. Pygmalion was a sculptor who so loved one of his statues which he named Galatea he prayed to Aphrodite for a wife just like it; the goddess brought the statue to life. Galatea was also the name of a Nereid, daughter of the water god Nereus.
In Robot
the Doctor regenerates into his fourth body with the help of his Time Lord mentor, now a Buddhist monk on Earth. The Doctor finally abandons UNIT and twentieth century Earth for the nomadic life he enjoyed before his exile. The word "regeneration" is first applied to the Time Lord ability to change bodies.
In Robot
Merlin is rejuvenated on the brink of death with the help of his Avalonian master, Blaise, now a priest on Greece. Merlin and Nimue finally abandon the Argonauts and Greece for the nomadic life he enjoyed before his exile.
Blaise was a holy man who knew Merlin's mother and who kept a history of Arthur that Merlin would dictate to him.
In The Secret of Sihpis
(sequel to Toy Story) the Enterprise and the TARDIS return to the planet Sihpis independently to discover that another of the Doctor's ex-Time Lord "school chums", the Rani, has been behind the genetic anomalies there all along - initially, on assignment from the Time Lords.
In The Secret of Sihpis
(sequel to Toy Story) (unwritten) the Excalibur and the CAVE return to the planet Sihpis independently to discover that another of Merlin's ex-Avalonian "school chums", Circe, has been behind the genetic anomalies there all along - initially, on assignment from Avalon.
Circe was the sorceress who turned Odysseus' crew into animals.
