COCONUT MACAROONS

1 1/3 cups coconut 
1/3 cup sugar 
1/8 tea. salt 
1/2 tea. vanilla 
2Tbls. flour 
2 egg whites (unbeaten)

Combine coconut, sugar, flour and salt in mixing bowl. Stir in unbeaten egg whites and vanilla; mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased and floured baking sheets. 

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, or until edges are browned. Remove from baking sheets at once. 

Makes about 1 1/2 dozen cookies.
