CHERRY 'N' PINEAPPLE COBBLER...So Easy, So Good!

1 stick margarine 
1 cup sugar 
1 cup flour 
1 tsp. baking powder 
1 cup milk 
1 can cherry pie filling 
1 (15 oz) can crushed pineapple, well drained 
3/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt margarine in 9 x l3 pan in preheated oven.

Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and milk. Pour this over melted margarine.

Mix together cherry pie filling and drained crushed pineapple. Pour this mixture over flour mixture.

Sprinkle with pecans (if desired) and cinnamon sugar topping.

Cinnamon Sugar Topping:

Mix 3 tablespoons sugar with 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until top is brown

Serves 8

ENJOY!

This cobbler is quick to make and very tasty... you could also substitute 1 can of apple pie filling or 1 can of peaches for the cherry pie filling.

I really like it with the pecans, and my hubby Rip would rather have it without them...but Rip LIKES bologna, so what does that tell ya'? Actually, I know he LOVES nuts or we wouldn't have been married for 42 years *VBG*
