comments: This photo was taken during the 4-H/FFA Sale of Champions at the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville. In the Sale of Champions, top-judged animals raised by 4-H and FFA members are auctioned at premium prices, the money going to the young people who did the work. For example, Jordan Amburgey's grand champion lamb, above, went for $12,000. |
