Business sign painted on a large, flat rock.  Carter County.  November 8, 2002.  1:34 p.m. EST.

Photographer's comments:
This sign lists services offered by the KZ equipment repair shop.  It also reveals rural attitudes toward thrift and utility.  The sign is eye-catching, informative, and it cost virtually nothing to produce.  A similar sign leans against the other side of the tree.
