Photographer's comments:
     The color of the sky in this picture is not what it appeared to my eye at the time.  It looked to be blue, but I had to underexpose three or four stops to bring out the detail in the sun.  I guess the red radiating from the sun overpowered the blue of the sky.  Someone with more technical understanding than I have (which isn't much) probably can explain.
     Still, I like the red.  If you were standing on the surface of the sun, I'll bet the entire universe would look red.  That assumes, of course, that you would have time to look before you were incinerated.
