I saw this Pink Lady in the parking lot of the Skid City Mall and immediately envisioned her driving off singing aloud in her car to some crappy pop song. I started thinking about how shit like American Idol has transformed singing-in-the-shower into Karaoke Night at every shit-hole bar across the nation. The other images and titles just flew into my head. These small canvases are heavy with linseed oil and thus very hard to photograph.
