Small Tatted Star

Materials:

One spool of Kreinik Very Fine Braid makes two stars (each a little less than 2 inches across) with a little thread left over.

Starting with the second ring of a clover in order to use the tails for a hanger rather than hiding them...
- R: 3 - 6 - 6 - 3 cl
- R: 3 +(last p previous R) 5 - 8 cl rw sp
*R: 8 - 3 - 8 cl rw sp
R: 4 +(last p previous outer R) 4 - 4 cl rw sp
R: 8 +(last p previous inner R) 3 - 8 cl rw sp
Clover:
- R: 8 +(last p previous outer R) 5 - 3 cl
- R: 3 +(last p previous R) 12 - 3 cl
- R: 3 +(last p previous R) 5 - 8 cl rw sp
Repeat from * 3 more times (for a total of four complete clovers plus the initial partial one)
R: 8 +(last p previous inner R) 3 - 8 cl rw sp
R: 4 +(last p previous outer R) 4 - 4 cl rw sp
R: 8 +(last p previous inner R) 3 +(first p first inner R) 8 cl rw sp
R: 8 +(last p prvious outer R) 5 +(first p first outer R) 3 cl
Tie the two tails together close to the base of the first R made.
Pull one of the tails through the middle p of the first R made.
Tie the two tails together over that p and then again about 1.5 inches from the p to make a hanger.
