XLT Program
XLT

The XLT is a versatile detector, and many detectorists have designed custom programs.Using my program,I have found many silver coins in Central Ohio. While I have had good results, you may wish to change some of the settings for your area.

One adjustment you might want to make is in the recovery speed. My setting of 20 is for hunting in areas of moderate trash. If area is very clean, lower the number. Be sure not to set preamp gain so high that your detector gives a lot of false signals and is unstable. Just experiment with the numbers and have fun.

Did you know your XLT will play a short tune? Just follow these instructions. Turn on your detector. Press Menu. Select Pro Options. Select Disc. Scroll down to Recovery. Set to 1. Press Menu and Enter at the same time. Then listen.Keep on beeping!
