On a trip through Elkhart, Indiana, I noticed that a six-block section of streets and sidewalks in the downtown area was undergoing construction. I got out my detector and started searching.After two hours of detecting I was ready to quit,with only a few recent coins for my efforts.Then I got a good signal and dug up this coin, 2" deep, where the sidewalk had been.It was the find of a lifetime.
