- Riverwalk, 1 Oct.:
Five (3 new) replaced a planned hike at McCormick's Creek
State Park with a closer one...and what's closer than the
Riverwalk in Louisville? Four ended up walking over 9
miles.
- Siltsone Trail in
Jefferson County Memorial Forest, 8 Oct.: 17 people
(several new) & 2 dogs hiked 7 mi. on a chilly day.

- Vernon-Douglas Nature
Preserve, Fright Night hike: About 13 went 3 mi.
on Friday the 13th.
"The lucky ones survived." (DM)
- Falls of the Ohio,
Saturday 14 Oct.: 17 people from 4 groups explored the
fossil beds on a warm, sunny day. (DM)
- Central Kentucky Wildlife
Refuge, 15 Oct.: 7 people hiked 5 mi., visited
Penn's Store and Gravel Switch, Ky. (DM)
- Cherokee Park, Oct. 22, nearly 30 (including dogs) hiked 5 mi.,
then picnicked at Big Rock.
"A walk in the park." (DM)
- Cave Hill Cemetery,
29 Oct. Close to thirty people walked through this this
beautiful and historic cemetery.
