Ramchandra, K.R.L.Rao's second brother, picked me up on his motorcycle to take me to Rao's house. We had breakfast with the new couple, who had returned from his family's house earlier in the morning. Later, Vasu took me downtown on his motorcycle so I could buy a replacement battery for my camera, I also bought another Telugu to English dictionary.
We must have done other things that day, but I don't recall what.
That night, I had excessive gas and then mild diarrhea for the first time on the trip. I mention this because it is very common for foreign visitors, even natives who have been away for a few years, to get sick when visiting India. It is unusual for it to first occur 11 days into the trip.
