Privacy Statement

All the big Web sites have privacy statements, so I thought I should have one also.

Surfing

I don't keep track of visitors to Middle Georgia Outdoors. (How many of the big sites are willing to give that up?) However, your keystrokes and mouse clicks get transmitted through several computers, so I can't promise no one is watching you. Hopefully browsing a list of places open to the public is not a sensitive issue, but if you are concerned, a good place to start may be your internet service provider's privacy statement, and my internet service provider's privacy statement.

Links

This web site consists mostly of links to Web sites controlled by other organizations. You should be aware, as of this writing, most of these Web sites do not have privacy statements. Follow these links at your own risk.

E-Mail

Since I don't track your surfing, I would much appreciate it if you would send me an e-mail. Otherwise, I have no idea if anyone ever visits this site! I promise to make reasonable attempts to protect your e-mail. My apartment has been broken into twice, but my computer is so ugly no one has ever stolen it. If your e-mail is just comments and suggestions, I will use them to improve my web sites, and nothing else.

If you ask questions, and you don't specify otherwise, that is a little more risky. I might forward your e-mail to someone I think has the answer. There is the chance that person will give you lots more answers on lots more subjects than you ever wanted. But it is more likely that person will ignore both you and me, and we will be left with more privacy than we really wanted. If you do not want your questions forwarded, or have other privacy requests, please state them in your e-mail.
