Ocmulgee National Monument, Macon
The motto of this park is "All Things Are Connected", and it is impossible to adequately present the ancient mound builders without also addressing the environment. This natural oasis within urban Macon features a selection of well maintained trails, including open fields, hardwoods, wetlands, and the Ocmulgee River.
