Georgia Children's Home
(Georgia Industrial Home)
This trail follows Rocky Creek and Wolf Creek and goes through clearings and forest of varying
ages. These vegetation boundaries should provide multiple opportunities for
viewing wildlife. The dirt trail was built by bicycling enthusiasts, but is
also suitable for walking. The trail is a five mile loop. Trail map.
Access
The Georgia Childrens Home is at 4690 Mumford Road in western Macon. The
trail starts at a pond. Park in the small lot alongside Mumford Road next to
the picnic shelter.
