Dames Ferry
River access at Dames Ferry is not very good. A very steep, eroded road leads from the east end of the State Route 18 bridge. There is no parking area.
Don't confuse this site with the Dames Ferry campground on Lake Juliette!
Access
The Dames Ferry bridge is on SR 18 just east of the town by the same name.
Upstream, a much better river access is East Juliette .
Downstream. a much better river access is Popes Ferry.
