Bob's Blasted Computer:

Old IBM 8088 portable computer. Portable means it has a handle. It really needs 8 ply tires. The hard drive needs a kick starter off a Harley.

Also have have a HP n3402. It doesn't work all the time. It doesn't work any quicker than the old 8088 and its not as much fun. I pray if you ignore Windows, hopefully it will go away and DOS will come back.

Bob's Job:

I'm a farmer, the world's largest non-profit industry. Tobacco pays my bills.
If the president-person has his/her way, I`ll be on welfare.
Like it or hate it, tobacco has a fascinating history. Its 500 year history is much the history of this nation and the Commonwealth. In 1993 I wrote a 500 yr. (1492-193) history of tobacco.
Tobacco is often a farmer's only profitable crop because farmers act as a single seller to a small number of tobacco companies which band together as buyers. Farmers pay the government to run the program. The government does not subsidize tobacco growers.
The Burley Tobacco Growers Cooperative prevents tobacco prices from colapsing. However tobacco companies can buy tobacco overseas at cheap prices. While foreign tobacco may be cheaper, it doesn't have the quality of american tobacco.

When I have time, I like to shoot skeet

If you are interested in skeet for competition not recreation, the governing organization is the N.S.S.A.

I shoot an old "slick side" Browning Citori with Kolar and Savge insert tubes to make it a .410.

I like the .410 or "rat gun" for its low noise and reduced recoil.

I'm a member of the Lloyd Area Skeet Club. They shoot Wed. evenings and Sundays from 12:30 to 5:00. They also shoot a lot of other times. If you call (606) 428-2323 there is an answering machine with a current schedule.

I also am a member of the American Legion Gun Club.
