SPACE STATIONS by Mark Kinney 27 October 2001 ttto "Master McGrath" with some slight modification I remember back when we had Skylab above We couldn't maintain it, so gave it a shove Into the atmosphere, and here's the rub We dropped it right onto Australia A Soviet satellite orbited long It stayed well powered, but it's orbit wasn't strong So this nuclear power plant went somewhat wrong And dropped down right onto Canada And then we get to a station called Mir That once again had Australians in fear But it hit the right place and the Russians did cheer As it dropped into the South Pacific And when our current station, whatever its name Is old and decrepit and grown halt and lame Who then will be worried when we do it again And it drops in on unwitting hosts
